Streamloop streams to Twitch with your stream key. A stream key is the password that lets a streaming tool send video to your channel.

Get your stream key from Twitch

In the Twitch Creator Dashboard, go to Settings → Stream and copy your Primary Stream Key. Twitch keys start with live_.
Your stream key gives full control of your channel’s live stream. Don’t share it. If it leaks, reset it in Twitch and update the destination in Streamloop.

Add Twitch to your loop

1

Open the destination picker

In your loop’s General tab, click Connect a destination (or Add destination if your loop has a destination list).
2

Choose Twitch

Pick Twitch · RTMP stream key. Streamloop fills in Twitch’s RTMP URL for you.
3

Paste the key

Paste your Stream key, give the destination a Display name, and click Save destination.
4

Go live

Start the loop. Your title and category stay in Twitch: set them in the Creator Dashboard.

Good to know

  • Twitch ends broadcasts after about 48 hours. Streamloop reconnects before that happens, so your loop keeps running. On Twitch, it shows up as a new broadcast.
  • Video only. Streamloop sends the video and sound. Your stream title, category and viewer counts stay in Twitch.
  • Quality. Streamloop keeps the stream within what Twitch accepts, so you don’t need to set a bitrate. Twitch takes up to 1080p: if the destination says it doesn’t accept the loop’s resolution, lower the resolution in the loop’s General tab.
  • Twitch and YouTube together. Add both to one loop with multistream.
