Multistreaming
Multistreaming recorded videos to YouTube, Kick and more
Upload your videos once, and Streamloop plays them live on up to 5 platforms at the same time: YouTube, Twitch, Kick, Facebook and more. It runs in the cloud, so your computer can be off. Each extra platform adds $6 per 30 days at 1080p.
$1 for a 7-day trial, then the monthly plan for the quality you pick, unless you cancel during the week.
Streaming a live show from OBS or a camera? Use Live Scenes and just ask the Scenes assistant for the layout. It sends to up to 5 platforms too. Access is granted within 24 hours.
Multistream in three steps
- 01 /
Add your videos
Upload your videos or add them from a link. Then just ask Smart order what plays when, like "play the intro once, then shuffle the rest".
- 02 /
Add your platforms
Sign in with YouTube, and Streamloop creates the broadcast for you. Add Twitch, Kick, Facebook, X, TikTok or LinkedIn with its stream key, or any service that gives you an RTMP address and key.
- 03 /
Go live everywhere
Start the stream. Every platform gets the same stream at the same moment.
What it costs
Streaming is billed by the minute, only while live: one 24/7 stream at 1080p is about $10 per 30 days. Start with a $1 trial week, which becomes a monthly plan unless you cancel, or top up and pay as you go.
See how each platform is doing
Each platform shows Live, Not connecting or Off after error, and how long it has been that way. When one platform drops, the others stay live while Streamloop reconnects to it. When a platform refuses the stream, for example after its stream key changes, Streamloop turns that platform off, so it is not billed. Its row says what to fix.
- Live, Not connecting or Off after error, with the time in that state
- A plain reason and the fix, such as a stream key to update
- For YouTube, an optional backup stream to its backup server, which doubles the stream price (not the extra-platform fees) while live
Limits to know before you start
Up to 5 platforms per stream
One of the 5 can be YouTube. To reach more platforms, or a second YouTube channel, run a second stream.
You cannot add a platform while live
Add every platform before you start the stream. While it is live, you can stop sending to a platform. Adding one, or turning one back on, waits until the stream stops.
Twitch, Kick and Facebook take up to 1080p
A stream that includes one of them runs at 1080p or lower. For 1440p or 4K, leave Twitch, Kick and Facebook off the stream.
Every platform gets the same stream
One picture size and frame rate go everywhere, so there is no separate vertical version. Streamloop has no merged chat, guest cameras or viewer analytics: each platform keeps its own chat and stats.
Multistreaming from the cloud or from your computer
All three put one stream on several platforms. Here is what each one asks of you.
| Streamloop | A plugin in your streaming app | A service your computer streams to | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What your computer does | Nothing while live: your videos play from the cloud | Sends a separate stream to each platform | Sends one stream to the service, which passes it on to each platform |
| Upload speed you need | Enough to upload your videos once | A full stream for each platform | One full stream |
| When your computer is off | Every platform stays live | The stream stops everywhere | The stream stops everywhere |
Frequently asked questions
What is multistreaming?+
Multistreaming means sending one live stream to several platforms at the same time, such as YouTube, Twitch and Kick. Viewers on each platform watch the same stream.
Can I stream to YouTube and Twitch at the same time?+
Yes. Connect YouTube by signing in and add Twitch with its stream key. Twitch has rules for streaming elsewhere at the same time: see how to stream on Twitch and YouTube at the same time.
Where do I find my stream key?+
Each platform shows it in its own dashboard. See the steps for Twitch, Kick, Facebook, TikTok and any other RTMP service. For the whole setup, read how to multistream.
How much does each extra platform cost?+
The stream price covers one platform. Each extra platform adds $3.50 at 720p, $6 at 1080p, $8 at 1440p or $12.50 at 4K per 30 days. It is billed by the minute, only while live. For example, one 24/7 stream at 1080p on two platforms is about $10 plus $6, so about $16 per 30 days. See all prices.
What happens when one platform goes down?+
The other platforms stay live while Streamloop reconnects to it: see what each platform shows.
Can I choose what plays on every platform?+
Yes, just ask Smart order, for example "cartoons in the morning, films after 8 pm". Every platform plays that order. See the live stream scheduler.
Does my computer need to stay on?+
No. Your videos play from the cloud, so every platform stays live with your computer off.
Is there a free plan?+
No. Start with the $1 trial week. See all prices.
