24/7 streaming services

13 Best 24/7 Streaming Services for Pre-Recorded Video (2026)

Updated September 1, 2026

We tested the cloud services that loop a pre-recorded video into a 24/7 live stream on YouTube and any RTMP destination, and ranked them honestly for 2026. The right 24/7 streaming service depends on your job: a hands-off loop, heavy overlays, multistream reach, or the lowest price.

Every tool below is judged on what matters for an always-on channel: pricing, streaming quality, destinations and how hands-off it runs, not just a feature checklist.

Competitor pricing and feature limits were verified in June 2026 against each service's official pricing and help pages. Streamloop's HDR and team-access availability was updated in August 2026, and the Streaming Bots and StreamYard details were checked in September 2026.

A few more tools are worth a mention. StreamAdda is a low-cost YouTube and Facebook looper, StreamPush is an enterprise music-channel playout service for record labels (from about 495 euro per month), and Stream247 is a managed Twitch and YouTube service for gaming replays (from about 99 pounds per month). Loopify is a promising upload-and-loop service but is still invite-only early access with no public pricing. We also checked Arcana Stream and StreamBoss and left them out, since neither is a verifiable, currently-operating product.

And StreamYard? It comes up in almost every streaming conversation, but it is a browser studio for hosted live shows, not a looper. Pre-recorded streaming there is limited to paid plans and capped at 2-to-8-hour video files depending on tier, so it cannot run an unlimited 24/7 loop. If you arrived here looking for a StreamYard alternative for an always-on channel, any of the ranked tools above is the better fit.

★ Our pick
1Streamloop logo

Streamloop

Best flexible 24/7 loop tool: HDR, team access, and pay-as-you-go pricing

Starts at
From $4.02 per 30 live days at 720p/24fps
Best for
Best flexible 24/7 loop tool: HDR, team access, and pay-as-you-go pricing

Streamloop turns prerecorded video and audio playlists into cloud streams at up to 4K60, including HDR where supported. Each stream sends to one managed YouTube connection or compatible RTMP destination; reaching several platforms requires separate streams rather than one-to-many fan-out.

What's good
  • Usage billing with exact resolution/frame-rate rates and no charge while idle
  • Ordered, non-repeating shuffle, and rule-based custom playlists
  • Published playlist edits take effect at the next clip boundary without restarting
  • Managed YouTube OAuth plus arbitrary compatible RTMP endpoints
  • Google Drive, Dropbox, YouTube, and direct-URL imports
  • Documented REST, GraphQL, and OAuth-protected MCP interfaces
Where it's not a fit
  • Built for pre-recorded loops, not live webcam input
  • Multistream is still rolling out

Eligible new accounts may receive starter credits without a card; no guaranteed public amount or duration

2Gyre logo

Gyre

Best all-round alternative: 4K/60 and seven destinations

Starts at
From $49/month
Best for
Best all-round alternative: 4K/60 and seven destinations

Gyre runs prerecorded streams continuously from its cloud to YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Instagram, X, Kick, MixCloud, or another RTMP-key destination. Each destination is configured as a separate stream with its own key and consumes available stream capacity; it is not one-key fan-out.

What's good
  • Unattended 24/7 cloud playout with unlimited streaming hours
  • Broad named destination support plus RTMP-key delivery
  • Start+ and PRO+ add playlists, scheduling, 4K capacity, and multiple HD slots
  • Paid plans include 35 GB to 150 GB of storage
Where it's not a fit
  • Subscription only; the cheapest tier lacks playlists and the scheduler
  • Connects with a stream key, not one-click sign-in

7 days; 1 HD stream at 1080p30, 20 GB, 15 uploads, 180 cumulative uploaded minutes, watermark; auto-converts to Start+ unless canceled

3Playout.video logo

Playout.video

Best for 24/7 loops plus overlays, scheduling and a Live Studio

Starts at
Free; persistent channels from $29/month
Best for
Best for 24/7 loops plus overlays, scheduling and a Live Studio

Playout.video combines persistent cloud playlists, recurring calendar programming, fallback content, and a full browser Live Studio. A programmed channel can continue behind a live takeover and resume afterward, while standard plans multistream to two through ten simultaneous destinations.

What's good
  • Creator provides a persistent 24/7 channel from $29/month
  • Channel adds recurring calendar execution, fallback, and auto-start/stop
  • Full browser Live Studio with guests, screen sharing, layouts, and recording
  • Hybrid live takeover can sit over an autonomously progressing playlist
  • Broad native and custom RTMP destination support
Where it's not a fit
  • Subscription only, no pay-as-you-go
  • No Google Drive or Dropbox import

Permanent Free plan; no time-limited trial. Free sessions stop after five hours and include a watermark.

4Upstream logo

Upstream

Best for overlays, stream design, and multistreaming

Starts at
From $24/mo yearly / $30/mo monthly
Best for
Best for overlays, stream design, and multistreaming

Upstream is a YouTube Verified software encoder for 24/7 streams, with a Canva-like Stream Designer for overlays, embedded websites and widgets, plus multistreaming to up to 10 destinations.

What's good
  • YouTube Verified software encoder
  • Stream Designer: overlays, embedded websites, widgets, custom fonts
  • Multistream to up to 10 destinations
  • Well-reviewed, responsive chat support
  • Up to 100GB storage on higher plans (65GB on Lite)
Where it's not a fit
  • Subscription pricing adds up versus pay-as-you-go
  • The Stream Designer has a learning curve
  • Some quality and storage limits sit on higher tiers
5OneStream Live logo

OneStream Live

Best for the widest reach and a generous free tier

Starts at
Free forever; paid from about $10/mo
Best for
Best for the widest reach and a generous free tier

OneStream Live is a mature multistreaming platform that also streams pre-recorded video as scheduled or looping live broadcasts to 45+ platforms, with playlists, scheduling up to 60 days, overlays, a browser Live Studio, and cloud import from Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive and more. It caps at 1080p, and true 24/7 looping is gated behind Enterprise or a per-stream add-on.

What's good
  • Genuine pre-recorded looping with playlists and scheduling up to 60 days ahead
  • Very broad reach: multistream to 45+ platforms simultaneously
  • Generous free-forever tier with no credit card
  • Mature product with overlays, a browser Live Studio, unified chat and recording
  • Cloud import from Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, pCloud, Box and S3
  • Consistently strong support: named agents, live chat, and long-tenured users reporting four to five years without switching
Where it's not a fit
  • Caps at 1080p, no 4K
  • True 24/7 looping needs Enterprise or an add-on

Free forever plan, no card (720p, 2 destinations, 15-min pre-recorded)

6LiveReacting logo

LiveReacting

Best for a 24/7 loop plus interactive live shows

Starts at
Free; dedicated 24/7 from $39.99/month
Best for
Best for a 24/7 loop plus interactive live shows

LiveReacting combines a full browser studio and interactive show tools with cloud prerecorded uploads and a separate persistent 24/7 product. Normal paid tiers allow unlimited monthly starts but remain limited to one, three, eight, or 24 hours per event; destination counts are not independent program concurrency.

What's good
  • Full browser studio with guests, scenes, layouts, branding, and live editing
  • Games, polls, trivia, giveaways, comments, countdowns, and AI Host features
  • Cloud prerecorded streaming with playlists and advanced schedules
  • Direct YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch integrations plus custom RTMP
  • Dedicated 24/7 tier with configurable quality and concurrency
Where it's not a fit
  • Pricing is fragmented and hard to verify
  • The loop is one feature in a broad suite

Permanent Free plan: 3 streams/month, up to 30 minutes each, 720p

7L

Livepush

Best for multistreaming to 40+ platforms plus looping

Starts at
Free; paid from $15/month
Best for
Best for multistreaming to 40+ platforms plus looping

Livepush accepts RTMP or SRT ingest and distributes it broadly while also offering cloud-uploaded prerecorded schedules and loops. Its persistent 24/7 entitlement begins on Creators; its browser webcam input is basic and is not a StreamYard-style multi-guest production studio.

What's good
  • Strong one-to-many distribution to major platforms and custom RTMP/SRT endpoints
  • Cloud scheduled uploads, playlists, loops, and recurring broadcasts
  • Creators includes 4K, continuous playback, and three prerecorded streams
  • Paid streaming hours are broadly unlimited outside the explicit continuous-24/7 gate
  • Separate hosted-delivery catalog offers player, CDN, HLS, and bandwidth packages
Where it's not a fit
  • 24/7 looping is gated to the $39/mo plan
  • Subscription with storage and concurrency caps

Permanent Free plan with 20 streaming hours/month; no continuous 24/7 entitlement

8Castr logo

Castr

Best for pro TV playout / OTT-style workflows

Starts at
Core plans from $19.99/month; infinite looping from $199.99/month
Best for
Best for pro TV playout / OTT-style workflows

Castr is a broad live-video platform rather than a focused looper. Premium and higher can run infinitely looping MP4 playlists through Pre-Recorded Live, while TV Playout offers structured scheduling, live inputs, EPG, and larger playlists but limits loops to 15 or 30 days.

What's good
  • Broad multistreaming, hosted VOD, player, monetization, and API stack
  • Documented infinite Pre-Recorded Live looping on Premium and above
  • Account-wide delivery to 6–30 destinations depending on plan
  • TV Playout adds scheduling, live inputs, breaks, and EPG on higher tiers
  • Cloud Production provides browser-based switching and external URL overlays
Where it's not a fit
  • The valid infinite-loop entry price is $199.99/month, not $19.99/month
  • Starter and Standard can schedule prerecorded content but cannot loop indefinitely
  • Cloud prerecorded playback has no current documented 4K guarantee
  • Pre-Recorded Live and TV Playout have separate storage, file, quality, and loop rules
  • Cloud Production is a 720p switcher, not a full Restream-style guest studio

Free trial available; Trial TV Playout output is branded

9SubSub Live logo

SubSub Live

Best for monetizing a YouTube catalog 24/7

Starts at
Marketed from $0.06 per stream-hour, plus storage
Best for
Best for monetizing a YouTube catalog 24/7

SubSub Live reuses uploaded media across looping, shuffled, or sequential cloud playlists. It markets YouTube and Facebook support and unlimited simultaneous streams, but public evidence describes separate usage-billed streams rather than one-feed multi-destination fan-out, and the operational workflow is strongly YouTube-centric.

What's good
  • Pay-as-you-go billing with no idle streaming charge
  • Original quality up to 4K without published quality-tier gates
  • Shared content library reusable across multiple separate streams
  • Loop, shuffle, sequence, order, and timing controls
  • Free starter credits without a card
Where it's not a fit
  • YouTube and Facebook only, no custom RTMP
  • No documented overlays or cloud import

Bonus credits for approximately 10+ streaming hours, depending on quality and file size; no card

10Live247 logo

Live247

Best usage-based 4K YouTube looper, billed by the hour

Starts at
$0.0273 per active stream-hour
Best for
Best usage-based 4K YouTube looper, billed by the hour

Live247 runs MP4 video or MP3 audio playlists on YouTube from the cloud. Each active stream uses its own YouTube key and is billed separately; the service does not currently support Facebook, Twitch, generic RTMP, or one-feed multistream distribution.

What's good
  • Low usage rate for continuous 1080p YouTube streaming
  • Up to 4K60, vertical video, and documented 10-bit HDR support
  • Sequential or random video/audio playlists with midstream replacement
  • 100 GB included per stream with application-side paid overage support
  • Future activation and deactivation scheduling
Where it's not a fit
  • YouTube-only, no custom RTMP or multistream
  • Connects with a stream key, not one-click sign-in

One free streaming hour with coupon NEWUSER; no card required to start

11Runnel.live logo

Runnel.live

Cheapest barebones YouTube-first 24/7 loop

Starts at
$6 per stream per 30 days
Best for
Cheapest barebones YouTube-first 24/7 loop

Runnel.live runs looping or shuffled video queues, primarily to YouTube, at a low per-stream usage price. Unlimited stream creation means separately billed stream objects, not unlimited streams for one $6 payment or one-feed fan-out; account limits and server capacity still apply.

What's good
  • Very low per-stream playout price with minute-level proration
  • Up to 4K60 in horizontal or vertical orientation
  • Queue looping, shuffle, bulk upload, and one-time scheduled starts
  • Additional videos can be uploaded while a stream is running
Where it's not a fit
  • Uploads cost extra and 4K uploads carry the highest per-GB charge
  • YouTube is the primary target; Twitch and Rumble are only partially supported
  • Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok are unsupported, while Kick support is conflicting
  • Account limits can require support approval and launches can wait for server capacity
  • Inactive streams containing media are purged after two months
12Restream logo

Restream

Best general multistream studio, but not true unlimited 24/7 looping

Starts at
Free core plan; prerecorded looping from $79/month
Best for
Best general multistream studio, but not true unlimited 24/7 looping

Restream is primarily a live multistreaming platform and browser Studio. Upload & Stream can schedule prerecorded videos and playlists, but it is not a perpetual 24/7 looper: an individual event is capped at 10 loops and 40 hours, while playlists cannot loop and are capped at 40 entries and 24 hours.

What's good
  • Mature one-to-many distribution to 30 integrated platforms plus custom endpoints
  • Full browser Studio with guests, scenes, graphics, screen sharing, and chat
  • Scheduled prerecorded events are available through dedicated add-ons
  • Marathon supports 1080p looping and Media supports 4K
  • Business and Enterprise add stronger production and reliability controls
Where it's not a fit
  • Looping starts at $79/month, not the $39 Premier tier
  • No documented tier supports a continuous 30-day prerecorded event
  • Individual videos stop after 10 loops or 40 hours
  • Playlists cannot loop and cannot be reordered after playback starts
  • Custom RTMP loses Restream chat, analytics, and automatic destination-title updates

Permanent Free plan; not a time-limited free trial

13S

Streaming Bots

Best flat-rate 1080p looper with three-platform multistream

Starts at
$20/mo per concurrent stream
Best for
Best flat-rate 1080p looper with three-platform multistream

Streaming Bots restreams uploaded videos as 24/7 looping live broadcasts to YouTube, Twitch, Kick, Rumble, Mixcloud and custom RTMP servers, with layouts, overlays, scheduling and multistreaming to up to three platforms on one $20-per-month subscription. Output caps at 1080p/30fps, each subscription covers one concurrent stream with 65 GB of storage, and playlists loop until stopped with content updates that do not interrupt the live stream.

What's good
  • Simple flat price: $20/mo per concurrent stream with a 7-day money-back guarantee
  • One subscription multistreams to up to three platforms simultaneously
  • Playlists loop indefinitely, and content can be updated without interrupting the stream
  • Layouts with overlays, backgrounds and logos, in horizontal or vertical mode
  • Automated stream health monitoring and recovery with a 99.95% uptime claim
  • 24-hour free trial before committing
Where it's not a fit
  • Caps at 1080p/30: no 1440p, 4K, 60fps or HDR
  • No documented cloud import, API or team access

24-hour free trial; 7-day money-back guarantee

Real cost

What a 24/7 stream actually costs, by quality

Metered by the minute, so a week of streaming costs about a quarter of these figures, and a day about a thirtieth. Plus a one-time ~$0.005 per minute of video to encode it once. Uploads, storage, and idle loops are free.

Most 24/7 tools charge a flat $15–$19/month subscription regardless of use. Streamloop lets you pay as you go or choose an optional monthly credit plan — a 1080p channel running nonstop is about $10/month, and an idle loop costs nothing.

FAQ

24/7 streaming services: FAQ

The questions people actually ask before switching

What is the best 24/7 streaming software?

For looping pre-recorded video as a 24/7 live stream without a PC, Streamloop is our pick: pay-as-you-go, HDR up to 4K 60fps, automatic recovery, and multi-user team access. Upstream and Castr suit heavier overlay or multistream needs; Runnel.live is a budget option.

What is the cheapest way to run a 24/7 stream?

Streamloop's pay-as-you-go option is usually cheapest for an always-on channel because you only pay for the time you actually stream; an optional monthly credit plan is also available.

Can I run a 24/7 stream without leaving my PC on?

Yes. Cloud tools like Streamloop loop your uploaded video to YouTube or any RTMP destination from their servers, so nothing runs on your computer.

Is there free 24/7 streaming software?

Some tools offer a free tier or trial. Streamloop gives free trial credits with no card; Upstream has a free 24h/month plan. Most continuous 24/7 streaming runs on paid usage.

Does Streamloop support HDR streaming?

Yes. Streamloop supports HDR streaming at up to 4K and 60fps. The destination and viewers’ playback devices must also support HDR for the HDR presentation to appear.

Can a team manage Streamloop together?

Yes. Streamloop supports multi-user team access, so multiple people can work in the same workspace with their own sign-ins instead of sharing one account password.

Which 24/7 streaming service has a flat monthly price?

Streaming Bots is the simplest flat-rate option: $20 per month per concurrent stream buys a 1080p/30 loop with 65 GB of storage and multistreaming to up to three platforms. Gyre (from $49/mo) and Playout.video (from $29/mo) are also subscription-based. Streamloop is usage-billed instead, which usually works out cheaper for a single always-on stream.

Can StreamYard run a 24/7 live stream?

No. StreamYard is a browser studio for hosted live shows; its pre-recorded streaming caps at 2-to-8-hour files depending on plan and plays each file once, with no loop mechanism. For an always-on channel you need a dedicated looper from this list.
