When to consider Streamloop instead of Gyre
Gyre fits buyers who prefer a fixed subscription with a defined server allocation, storage quota and number of HD or 4K stream slots. Its official pricing lists YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Instagram, X, Kick and MixCloud.
Streamloop uses prepaid, per-live-minute pricing and gives each stream one managed YouTube or compatible RTMP destination. That model can fit intermittent channels or buyers who do not want to pay for an idle subscription slot, although conversion charges and Streamloop's one-destination-per-stream rule still need to be included in the comparison.
Plan gates matter. Gyre Start is the lowest paid plan but excludes playlists and scheduling; those tools begin at Start+. The seven-day trial temporarily includes both tools, carries a watermark and converts to Start+ at $99 if it is not cancelled. Gyre does not list an ongoing free plan.

Common questions about Gyre's features, pricing, and fit
What are Gyre's current paid plans?
Gyre lists Start at $49 monthly, Start+ at $99 and PRO+ at $169. Discounted prepaid totals are shown for three, six and twelve months.
Start includes one HD stream and 35 GB. Start+ includes four HD streams or one 4K stream with 75 GB. PRO+ includes eight HD streams or two 4K streams with 150 GB. The word “or” is important because 4K consumes more of the plan's stream capacity.
Does the Gyre Start plan include playlists and scheduling?
No. The current pricing page excludes both playlists and the scheduler from Start. They are included on Start+ and PRO+.
The seven-day trial temporarily includes both tools, so a trial workspace can expose features that are absent if the customer later chooses the cheaper Start plan.
Can one Gyre stream key broadcast to several platforms?
Gyre's own help article says each destination should be configured as a separate stream with its own unique key. A YouTube, Twitch and Facebook broadcast therefore uses separate stream configurations and available slots rather than one-key fan-out.
This separation allows destinations to be managed independently, but it should not be catalogued as one-to-many multistreaming from a single Gyre stream object.
What are the main Gyre trial limits?
The free trial lasts seven days and provides one HD 1080p30 stream, 20 GB, playlists, scheduling and a Gyre watermark. Uploads are capped at 15 videos and 180 cumulative minutes, and deleting files does not reset those counters.
If it is not cancelled, the trial converts to Start+ at $99. Gyre's current pricing page does not list an ongoing free plan.
What scheduling options does Gyre document?
Gyre documents start, stop, or combined start-and-stop events using a selected date, time and timezone. The scheduler is a Start+ and PRO+ feature outside the trial.
The reviewed help page did not document recurring schedules or a recurring-program grid, so one-time event scheduling is the defensible description.
Is Gyre or Streamloop better for multiple destinations?
Neither product should be described as general one-feed fan-out in its core prerecorded model. Gyre uses a separate key and stream slot for each platform, while Streamloop uses one destination per stream.
Gyre offers fixed multi-slot plans and a named platform list. Streamloop offers usage billing and managed YouTube or generic RTMP connections. The relevant comparison is the number of independent playout jobs required, not the number of platform logos shown.
