Is there a free plan?+
No. New accounts can start with a $1 trial by card: 7 days of one stream at any quality. The trial is once per user.
What happens when the trial ends?+
On day 7 the monthly plan for the quality you picked starts, and it renews monthly on the same day. Cancel during the trial and nothing else is charged.
How is streaming billed?+
By the minute, only while your stream is live. Pay as you go at the hourly rate, or take a monthly plan that covers 720 hours of one stream.
What if I use more than my plan covers?+
Extra usage beyond a plan is billed pay-as-you-go, at the same hourly rate.
What costs extra?+
Each destination after the first, encoding at $0.005 per minute of encoding time (once per upload), and playlist storage above 30 GiB at $0.35 per GiB-month.
