How does Live247 charge for streaming?
Live247 charges $0.0273 per streaming hour at 1080p and below, and $0.0546 at 1440p and above. One 1080p stream running nonstop comes to about $19.94 a month, before any extra storage.
Several streams running at once get a bulk discount. It applies to separate streams, not to one stream sent to several platforms.
New users can redeem the coupon NEWUSER for one free hour of streaming. That is a one-time credit, not a free plan.
Does Live247 stream anywhere besides YouTube?
No. Live247's own FAQ says it supports only YouTube for now. You add a YouTube stream key, and Live247 never needs access to your YouTube account.
Live247 recommends a different stream key for each stream. Facebook, Twitch, Instagram and other RTMP services are not supported.
What storage does Live247 include?
Each stream includes 100 GB of storage. You can turn on paid extra storage, about $15 for each extra 100 GB per month, and it is billed only while the stream is live.
Live247 deletes media from streams that stay inactive for a long time, but it does not say how long.
Can a Live247 playlist be changed while it is streaming?
Live247 advertises midstream file replacement and supports video or audio playlists with sequential or random play order. The interface also exposes future activation and deactivation scheduling.
Some other setting changes need a reboot, which restarts the stream from the beginning.
How many Live247 streams can one YouTube channel run?
Live247's FAQ answers “Unlimited! At least we think so” and says it has seen more than 100 on one channel. That is not a guarantee.
Each stream uses its own YouTube key and is billed on its own. YouTube's channel rules and Live247's capacity still apply.
Does Live247 work well on mobile?
Not really. Live247 says it is designed for desktop, and that features may not work as well, or at all, on mobile. Use it from a computer browser.
